Reflection seminar in February 2024
Here you find instructions for how to prepare for the seminar and the group schedule of the seminar. Before the seminar, you also need to write a reflection document and read and comment on other group members' reflection documents.
Preparations for the reflection
- There will be new groups during the seminars in period 3 and 4. The groups are based on the (sub)track that you reported in the track/subtrack quiz before Christmas. The groups are now fixed and cannot be changed. Find your new group number in Grades/Omdömen (under Group number, spring 2024), a number between 101 and 124. Also look up below who is the mentor of your group.
- The ability of working in international contexts is mentioned in the intended learning outcomes of the Master's programme, both in the national qualitative targets and the Master programme's objectives. Review both these sources to find what is actually being said.
- Read about doing the degree project abroad.
- Browse through (just look at a few entries) a list of open jobs for software developers in EuropeLinks to an external site..
- Conferences for software developers are often international. To get a fun and inspiring taste of an international professional community, watch this promotional videoLinks to an external site. for JfokusLinks to an external site., one of the largest Java developer conferences worldwide, which takes place in Stockholm every year.
- KTH recruits students from many countries. Study these maps which show some statistics on where the students are coming from.
