This is a foundational course in discrete mathematics. The course runs for one period and ends with a written exam after period 4.

Instructors

Instruction

Instruction takes place in lectures, seminars and exercise sessions; though you will complete much of the course work outside of the scheduled class time. In order to get the most out of the course it is important to come to class prepared, and to take time after each course meeting to process what you have learned. Do your best to remain caught up with the course material at all times, read the relevant sections from the textbooks each week, and solve as many recommended exercises as possible. Anyone who does this will likely pass the course.
