Cover page:

It is compulsary to use the KTH cover page for your thesis report. There are several ways to generate the cover page:

Keywords:

At the end of the abstract, at least three keywords should be given. The keywords will make it easier for users to find your report when it is published in Diva. If you do not know what a keyword is in Swedish, you can try the Stunda dictionary of computer terms

Report templates:

    • Compulsory template for the Interactive Media Technology (TIMTM) and Media Management (TMMTM) programmes.
      *** The cover pages in the Meda Technology thesis templates are outdated. Use the DOCX templates above. ***
        • Use if you are registered to DA232X, DA234X , or DA256X.
        • A version of the below LaTeX template adapted for use at KTH is in Overleaf
        • MS Word version generated from the LaTeX template: 
          TIMTM/TMMTM TemplatePage range: 18 - 22 pages.
        • Roughly the same amount of text as in the previous double-column format, but more room for images.
    • Templates for all other programs:
        • A generic 1st and 2nd cycle LaTeX template (with new cover): Overleaf
        • GitHub resources for MS Word template Links to an external site.
        • For information about using the template in Overleaf - see Getting started with Overleaf. There is also extensive documentation within the Overleaf project about the template. This template also generates the covers.
        • The Overleaf template and DOCX templates can be used with programs at GitHub E-leaning to generate the announcement of the oral presentation and to create a MODS file to facilitate the importing of the metadata for the thesis into DiVA.

The examiner will send the approved thesis to the school's office of student affairs, where the report will get a TRITA number and will be published in the Diva system.
