Origin myths

Use a generative image synthesis system (e.g., DALL-E 2, midjourney, stable diffusion (https://huggingface.co/spaces/stabilityai/stable-diffusion Links to an external site.), https://lexica.art Links to an external site. etc.) as an artistic partner to create what appears to be an image of a 17th century Dutch painting depicting the origin myth of a modern celebrity of your choice. The painting must have a background, middle ground and foreground. Write a brief analysis of the painting (like a note one might read posted next to the painting at a museum). Then write a brief reflection on the process and your experience, and finally estimate the amount of your final image that you feel arises from your co-creative partner. Submit your image, analysis and reflection.

Note: You need not restrict yourself to use only one tool. For instance, you can generate several images with several systems, and then mix them together with an image editing program like GIMP or photoshop.
