The syllabus is an automatically created page which can be of great use for your students.

At the top you can add a text that summarizes the course.

You should create a link to the course memo and intended learning outcomes. 

At the bottom a list of links (Course summary) will be created automatically, including everything that will be assessed in Canvas - assignments, graded quizzes and assessed discussions for instance.
