  • Grades must be decided by a teacher (examiner) specially appointed by the university.
  • Appeals: only certain types of university decisions can be appealed, such as negative decisions on admission and credit transfer. Grading decisions cannot be appealed.
  • Correction of grades: the decision to correct clerical or similar errors in a grade must be made by an examiner.
  • Reconsideration of a grade: If an examiner finds that a decision on a grade is manifestly incorrect because of new circumstances or for any other reason, he or she must change the decision, if this can be done quickly and easily and if it does not result in a reduction of the grade.
  • Each course must have a course syllabus containing the level of the course, the number of credits, the objectives, the requirements for specific qualifications, the forms of assessment of student's performance, and other necessary regulations. The course syllabus is binding on both the students and the university.
