There is a wide variety of examination forms that can be used for assessment. When designing a course, it is important to think through the way(s) in which you intend to assess whether students achieve the course objectives. The forms of assessment of student performance, i.e. the forms of examination used, should be specified in the course syllabus (kursplanen). But what else is involved?
