Fair examination - introduction
What does legal certainty mean? What laws and regulations are binding on the examiner? What are the rules on appeals, cheating, conflict of interest, the language of examination, etc.?
The aim of this module is to enable you to carry out your work as an examiner in a legally secure manner.
The module begins with an interview with Sverker Scheutz, an expert in public law. You will then be introduced to the most important pieces of legislation and regulations that affect the work of the examiner, in particular the Higher Education Ordinance, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Language Act. You will also get acquainted with the best reference work for examiners: the UKÄ's guide to legal certainty examination.
There are a total of four quizzes in this module, and to pass you need to achieve at least:
2 out of 2 marks on quiz 1
4 out of 5 points on quiz 2
3 out of 4 points on quiz 3
2 out of 3 marks on quiz 4.
