Use KiCAD Links to an external site. to design a PCB for a given circuit. We will be using KiCad for this since it works on most platforms, is free and open source, and is quite powerful. This task can be carried out at home.

Then download and install KiCAD on your computer: https://www.kicad.org/ Links to an external site.

Then follow the instruction in the video below to make the necessary Gerber files for manufacture. To complete the assignment, upload your Gerber files into this assignment area as a Zip-file.

If there is something missing or otherwise wrong with the design you will get feedback on your design.

Here are the instructions:

Below is the circuit that you will be laying out. It is a breathing sensor that will blink an LED when breathing and give an analog output on the pin-header. The sensor is just a diode that reacts to temperature.
