Seminars - online or physical?

The DA2210 course includes 10 mandatory seminars in a total of 12 student groups that stay fixed during the course. The first seminars are scheduled September 20. Last year, some seminar groups were scheduled online and some on campus. The seminars are mainly based on discussions in small student groups (at most 4-5) students, and because of this, we believe that they work equally well online as in a classroom. Online seminar groups may in some cases have a small number of physical meetings so that TAs can get to know their students from the start.

Because of this, we would like you to answer this quiz regarding your personal preferences or physical vs online seminars. The group assignment will be made at the beginning of the course based on your answers. Students who do not take part in the quiz are assumed to be comfortable with either arrangement. The scheduling will take both TA and student preferences into account, and we can not guarantee that  everyone's preferences can be satisfied, but we will attempt to achieve a reasonable solution. If you have a particularly strong reason for either arrangement (e.g., medical reasons), please let us know in a comment.

The survey has a deadline Thursday Sep 15 at 17:00. The group assignments will be done after that. Please check that you are logged into Canvas when answering, otherwise the answer cannot be taken into account.
