Graphical Models, Bayesian Learning, and Statistical Relational Learning
Organization
The course is given in autumn 2021 and is organized into three different modules:
In the first module we will start with introductory zoom lectures on Aug 30 and Sept 6. The first set of hand-in-problems is given out on Aug 30 and is due Sept. 20. Module 1 will be online over zoom and you will not be asked to travel to KTH for Sept 27-28, but students taking the course for credit are expected to be present and active during those days as if they had been at KTH.
- Module 1 - Graphical models: 27-28 September 2021, KTH
- Module 2 - Approximate inference in graphical models 28-29 October, LiU
- Module 3 - Logic, probability and statistical relational learning, 29-30 November, UU
Examination
To pass the course all modules have to be completed.
Participants in the course will be assessed on all the modules separately. This basic examination is common to all.
In addition to this, each participant is required to specialize in one of the three modules and do an extra examination in one of the modules going deeper into the concepts covered by one of the three modules.
