Module 1: Home assignment - HA1

The assignment for module 1 will consist of a group code project and an individual peer review.
It will be published after the zoom sessions of module 1.

To prepare for it, make sure that you set up your Python environment and go through the Python preparations

Cloud

For those using a cloud computing service to get access to a GPU, see the instructions for Azure Cloud. We also have an instruction for using notebooks in the cloud. Azure is Microsoft's cloud service and it is the easiest one to write clear instructions for. If you for some reason cannot use Azure, we can also give you credits to Google cloud service. Contact me (Jakob Lindqvist) here in Canvas if that is the case.

Submission

Submit the main notebook, completed with you implementations. Your notebook will in most cases not re-run during correction, so make sure that the saved output is properly displayed.

Examination

The assignment has an "internal score" of 20. You do not need to keep track of this, in the end, it is still just a binary pass/fail. If you fail the assignment you will be required to hand in a resubmission, within one week after you receive the failing result.
You are also required to conduct a peer review of another submission. Your reviewee should (fingers crossed) be auto-assigned by Canvas. If you do not receive a submission to report, please contact Jakob.
