Quiz: Background

This quiz contains questions on orthogonal matrices and the Jordan decomposition, which are not a part of the main course contents, but it is needed several times throughout the course.  All you need to know about these concepts for this course can be found in background.pdf 

This quiz is not mandatory but strongly recommended. If you haven't heard of the concepts before, getting acquainted will help you later. If you've seen the concepts before, it's a good to refresh.
