INSTRUCTIONS
- You can download the text of the assignment just after these instructions.
- Writing the solution:
- use your own sheets but write your name in capital letters at the of the sheet (sheets without name might be disregarded)
- you have approximately one week: the deadline for the submission is 8am on the following Monday.
- you can discuss the assignment with other students, but you have to solve the assignment individually:
- plagiarism is not allowed.
- you cannot copy from any other student and your solution must be written individually.
- you cannot copy from web.
- you cannot copy from any book.
- If we will suspect plagiarism (for example if the text of your solution is identical to that of another student), you will be called for a private meeting. Depending on the severity of the situation, we might:
- give 0 points to your assignment
- report you to KTH.
- Uploading the solution:
- you need to create a pdf file (for example, with the ScanPro app, see the kurs-PM for details).
- we accept only a single pdf file per home assignment (please, do NOT submit a file per each problem).
- you need to upload the pdf file with your solution on Canvas.
- you can upload the solution up to 8am, on the following Monday.
IMPORTANT:
- It is your responsibility to verify that the pdf file with your solution is clear and legible (this implies that also your handwriting must be legible). If the teacher can not read your text, the assignment will be graded with zero points.
- use the appropriate notation for the vectors and for any type of their operations. Each notation error gives -0.1 points.
- use clear logic steps.
- highlight the solution (for example with a double line).
- simplify mathematical expressions (for example: 8/2 wtite 4, 91/2 write 3)
