Music Taste Prediction Group Analysis

This assignment comes after or maybe for some in parallell to Music Taste Prediction. As described in that assignment there is a leaderboard which you can make submissions to assess the performance of your classifier 'in production'. You have to do this as a group so you need to coordinate your testing.

We suggest that the group decides on an internal deadline until which the individual assignment is completed. After this the group can start with this group assignment and decide what to submit to the leaderboard.

What to submit

This group assignment asks you to document the following in a brief report

• Did you do the Topic exploration part 1 and in particular the part that feeds directly into the Music Taste Prediction assignment before starting the latter assignment?
• How did you work on the individual assignment Music Taste Prediction? In isolation? Some coordination to spread the work with different methods?
• Did you work with the data in roughly the same way? E.g. regarding validation.
• Which method did you decide to use `in production'? What (good) arguments motivated your choice?
• How well your method performs `in production' as defined by the leaderboard found at Music Taste Prediction.
• Did you get the result you expected on the test data? If not, any guesses why?
