This group is for all students who are interested in writing a Master thesis / Exjobb in Mathematical Statistics or Financial Mathematics (courses SF290X, and SF291X). If you have not done so yet, use this link: to enroll in this group and follow all updates.

a. Application. Students must submit their master thesis application including a project outline and the completed registration form. The link to the form will be given here

For two students working on the same project, each student must complete the form and indicate the name of their collaborator in the appropriate field.
The project outline must be at least half a page and must describe the aim of the project and how it relates to the chosen Master thesis program, for example by identifying models and methods of financial mathematics and / or data science that will be studied and developed in the thesis. For two students working on the same project only one of them have to submit the project description (the other can write "see Name of collaborator" in the project description field.
b. Submission of Agreement. Students need to submit the completed and signed agreement between KTH and the external project provider. The agreement must be uploaded on the Canvas page for the appropriate course SF290X or SF291X. Two students working on the same project can use one form. It must be signed by a representative of the external project provider and the student(s).
