All about seminars
Every seminar starts with a short written test. After that seminar continues with the usual activities of solving problems and having discussions.
Location and times
You can find on din resultatsida Links to an external site. where (and when) your seminar happens. You can only go to these seminar meetings. Information about the seminars will be available well before the seminar begins, but not necessarily before the start of the course.
Re-registered students
If you do not take this course for the first time, you are then considered as re-registered student. For re-registered students evening seminars are set-up in periods 1, 2 and 3. Registering for an evening seminar is only possible one time per academic year.
Registration periods for re-registered students in academic year19/20:
Registration for seminars in period 1 (only students in year 2/3) : 2019-08-26 until 2019-08-29 (registration closed)
Registration for seminars in period 2 (only students in year 2/3): 28 okt- 31 okt, 2019
Registration for seminars in period 3 (only students in year 1): 15 jan- 20 jan, 2020
Note: There is only a limited number of seats in the evening seminars, the ones who register earlier are more likely to secure themselves a spot.
Assessment
To pass the seminar and obtain bonus points, one must be aktive during the whole seminar, and one must pass the seminar written test. Students who are late to seminar, will not pass.
Seminar written test
In the first 20 minutes of the seminar, the students write solutions to a short test. For every seminar, there are recommended exercises in section "moduler".
Students with special needs can get a 10-minute extended written test time. Show certificate to assistant. Note that this is NOT organized by FUNKA.
Bonus point
Every passed seminar gives one bonus point towards the exam. One can collect maximum of 6 bonus points from seminars. From part A of the exam, one can get maximum of 12 points, including bonus points For example, if one has 4 bonus points and gets also 10 points on part A of the exam, he/she will get total of 12 points from part A of the exam. A student who has already passed the course can not attend seminars to earn new bonus points.
Bonus points validity
Bonus points are valid throughout one academic year.
