Getting Started with:
Hello class,
I am delighted to have you join us. Here are a few things you need to know before we get started.
1. Watch Me First
Watch the three videos to get an introduction to the course, a tour of where to find things, and a brief background about my passion for teaching science.
2. Quick Questions
When is the course available?
- The course starts on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 8:00 CST and ends on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 11:59 pm CST.
How should I participate?
- There are 3 modules in the course, each covering a different topic. Once open, the modules stay open for the remainder of the course.
- There are no real-time or synchronous meetings. All of the module materials can be accessed any time you like.
What will I do on a weekly basis?
Each week, you will participate in some or all of the following activities:
- Watch lecture videos
- Take quizzes
- Participate in Discussion
- Complete assignment projects
How long does int take to participate?
- Each module is designed to take approximately 2 - 4 hours to complete.
