Meet the Course Instructor

Course Instructor: Ted Erski

Ted Erski is the instructor of Fundamentals of Energy Resources. He teaches geography, earth science and energy studies at McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois. He is committed to fostering a challenging yet caring learning environment where students are encouraged to become motivated self-learners, independent thinkers and responsible global citizens, His degrees, both in geography are from Drake University (B.S., 1992), and the University of Akron (M.S., 1994).

Ted's academic interests lie in energy resources, globalization and development. He is focused on teaching the physical, social and environmental science associated with energy resources and energy policies. In addition to teaching, Ted enjoys writing. He is the author of these three books:
