Assignments

The home assignments are evaluated with the grades P/F (pass or fail).

The course features three assignments which must be solved and submitted in time (you will have one week to solve all tasks on an assignment). Each assignment will feature 6 points on tasks. In order to pass the assignment part of the course you have to reach 9 points on all four assignments.

If you submit an assignment in time, the points will serve as bonus points on the exam. That means that you can score at most 18 bonus points for the exam. Note: the bonus points are valid only for this academic year.

After submission, Lars Kroll will comment on your solutions and will award points for your solutions.

You must submit your solution as a PDF (no other format is accepted) in Canvas. If preferred, you can write it on paper and then scan the paper.

Teaming Up

It is encouraged to work in teams consisting of at most two people. Groups are not allowed to change, you have to stick to that group for the entire course.

When working within a group, internal co-operation is naturally permitted. Each member of the group shall contribute equally to the assignment. Each group member shall, individually, be capable of giving an account of the entire assignment and the entire solution.

Each group submits just one solution!
