Homework & bonus points rules

SF2524

Mandatory:

  • Hand in correct versions of homeworks one week after the exam. Homeworks can be done in groups of two. Single person group is allowed but not recommended.
  • Do all the  Week X quiz Y at latest one week after the exam. With at least 80% correct score on each quiz. Those marked (optional) can be skipped

Bonus points:

  • Each homework set can yield maximum 2 bonus points if correct versions are handed in by the homework deadlines. Maximum total amount of bonus: 6 points.

Exam:

FSF3580

Mandatory:

  • Hand in correct versions of homeworks one week after the exam. Homeworks can be done in groups of two. Single person group is allowed but not recommended.
  • Special rules described in hwX.pdf
  • Active learning workspace: 
    • For every block post 2 problems
    • For every block answer 2 problems
  • Do all the  Week X quiz Y at latest one week after the exam. With at least 80% correct score on each quiz. Those marked (optional) can be skipped
  • In study period 3, complete activitites for block 5.

Bonus points:

  • Each homework set can yield maximum 2 bonus points if correct versions and the corresponding ALW-tasks are completed in by the deadlines. Maximum total amount of bonus: 6 points.

Exam:

  • If two out of regular homework sets (HW1, HW2, HW3) are handed in correctly by the deadline, and 3 out of the 4  ALW-blocks are correctly completed by the deadlines, the exam becomes a take-home exam. The exam will be (essentially) the same as the regular exam.

FSF3580*

If you are taking FSF3580 as a PhD student, but have already taken SF2524 as a master student, all the rules of FSF3580 above, but additionally:

  • Active learning workspace: Moderate solutions to the problems you posted, and moderate 2 problem which were not your problem.
