In this module, you will learn to

Oral production

  • talk about yourself, your family and friends, and your leisure time with greater assurance than in modules 1 and 2
  • talk about what you do every day and what you did ”yesterday”
  • talk about what you have done
  • possessive pronouns
  • verbs: continue practising the present and preterite
  • verbs: perfect tense
  • verbs: the difference between preterite and perfect tense
  • vocabulary: time expressions like i dag, i kväll, igår, i morse, just nu
  • talk about what it is like to live in a student corridor 
  • give and understand simple instructions and invitations
  • give the date 
  • vocabulary: the kitchen and living room – verb phrases and nouns
  • vocabulary: time expressions like tidigare, varje vecka, först, sen, aldrig
  • vocabulary: polite expressions when you ask for something

  • call about an advert and set up a meeting
  • continue practising asking questions and asking for clarification

Oral interaction

  • general: take part in conversations in Swedish about personal or well-known topics (small talk), if your conversation partner talks clearly and relatively slowly
  • start and end telephone calls in appropriate ways
  • talk on the phone with someone who wants to leave a message for someone else
  • talk on the phone, both with someone you know and with someone you do not know
  • talk to friends or strangers about your studies, Sweden and other countries, food and drink, language, traditions, etc.

  • give in writing a message you got from a phone call
