Welcome to Module 2!

👏 Jättebra (as we say in Swedish)! You are now ready to start Module 2.

In this module all instructions are given first in Swedish and then in English in brackets. It's good if you get used to reading the instructions in Swedish as this will help you when you come to Module 3 where all the instructions are in Swedish.

You will also have the possibility to choose if you want to have the grammar in Swedish or in English by following the links in either Swedish or English in the quizzes.

So far there is only word lists to the first chapters.

There are a lot of dictionaries online. Here are some suggestions:

Svenska.se Links to an external site.  Three dictionaries by the Swedish Academy on the same site:

  • SAOL – for spelling and inflection of modern Swedish
  • SO – focus on the meaning of the words and how they are used, but you can also hear how they are pronounced
  • SAOB – an historical dictionary

SAOL and SO are also available as apps on App Store and Google Play.
