Course instructions (short version)

Modules

Learning Swedish is divided into three modules. You are supposed to start with the first module and step-by-step go through all the three modules.

In the modules you find texts and dialogues, listening comprehension and interactive exercises of different kinds – as well as links to reference tools like the grammar, the pronunciation guide, the basic word list and the phrase dictionary. The reference tools are also available from the start page (Home) and from the Help menu.

Each module has several chapters, and each chapter starts with an introductory page on how to go through the quizzes and texts. After each module there is a language test in order to check if there is anything you need to repeat before you move on to the next module.

If you do not know any Swedish, we advise you to do the modules and quizzes in the order they are set up in.

Quizzes

This can be a bit confusing but what we call a quiz can be a vocabulary or grammar exercises or just a text or dialogue to read or listen to.

How to take a quiz

  • Start by following the instructions. Sometimes you have to do some reading before taking the quiz.
  • When you have answered the questions, click 'Submit quiz' at the bottom of the page.
  • Scroll down to see your result. Remember that you can always take the quiz again.
  • Move on to the next quiz or text by clicking 'Next' at the bottom of the page.

Take a deep breath and start your journey. It's never to late to learn a new language.

Lycka till! (Good luck!) 😊

Click 'Next' at the bottom of the page to continue.
