Peer review questions for Seminar 2: Results and Discussions

Results

  • Whole structure: Are the Results presented in a logical order (e.g. chronological, general-to-specific, or most important to least important?
  • Explanations: Are figures, graphs and tables interpreted to the reader?
  • Are contrasts and surprising details highlighted? (Look for words and phrases like only, more than... surprisingly high, deviates from, ranges from ... to ...)
  • Connection: Are all figures and tables referred to in the text?
  • Structure of paragraphs: One paragraph – one idea?

Discussion

  • Are the aim and method repeated to remind the reader?
  • Are there key words from the title and introduction repeated?
  • Are the results thoroughly discussed? 
  • What other aspects could be addressed?
