How to take the course
The course consists of an introductory section and the modules: Searching,
Critical Evaluation of sources and Referencing.
For some of you, this course is part of another course, while for others it is completely standalone. It includes a mix of text, video and quizzes. You can go through the modules in any order, but it may be helpful to follow them in the order presented in the course. You can return to the course overview at any time by clicking on Home.
It takes about 2 hours to complete the course.
All videos have subtitles and can also be viewed with transcripts directly in KTH Play. In order to do so, click on the link "View video with transcript in KTH Play" under the video.
There is no limit on the quizzes, you can retake them until you pass. You have completed the course once you have gone through all the pages and completed all the quizzes.
If you prefer to listen to the text, you can use the read-aloud tool Immersive Reader, which you can find at the top right corner of Canvas.
Feel free to take a break between modules; you don't have to do everything at once. Time for reflection is good for the learning process. ☕
The video and text material of the course is accessible to everyone. Only KTH students and employees can access the quizzes. You need to log in and enroll in the course by pressing Join the course.
