Tech.2 - Qubit Stability - Decoherence and Relaxation Times
The lecture slides are available here. Download here.
In this video lecture, we look at qubit stability. We check the challenges of maintaining qubits in their coherent states and explore the significance of two key time parameters, namely Decoherence Time (T2) and Relaxation Time (T1), in determining qubit stability. We discuss the interplay between these parameters and the implications for quantum error correction and provide insights into typical T1 and T2 values for prominent superconducting-qubit-based quantum computers.
