Finals instructions:

NOTE: Make sure your snakes are running and public this Sunday at 19:00 so that others can battle your snakes!  :)

  • You will be hosting matches against half of the groups in the standard medium map (11x11), in a way that all groups have played against everyone. The results will be available in the excel sheet, as in the previous assignment.

  • The games will be hosted Sunday from 19:00 to 20:00. That means that during that hour, your Replit servers should be running and your snakes should be available. To avoid any confusion and know if the snakes are available, once your server is running you should color the number of your snake in green (as team 1 in the example image). Once you have finished, you can put the cell to red again (as team 2 in the example image). This way everyone can know if your snake behaves as it should.

  • In the matches table, you only have to fill the yellow cells of the row corresponding to your team. You should write a 1 if you win the match, a 0 if you tie, and a -1 if you lose.
  • Once the match is done, click the button "Share", copy the link and paste it on the cell of the corresponding match.
  • If, for some reason, a snake is not available, you can write a comment on the corresponding match cell
  • You should only play each game once, unless there is any problem (don't cheat 👀)

  • TO DO EVERYONE:
    • Write the name of your snake in the table "Snakes ready", next to your group number. If you have 2 different snakes, indicate the name of each. If not, we'll assume that both snakes are the same.
    • Host the match from the US-EAST(Virginia) server (if possible)
    • Remember the game must be 2 vs 2 snakes, with the standard game mode and the medium board.

If you have any doubt you can write on Discord!

If Petter agrees, we can do the finals in class like last time :)

May the best snake win!
