Examination
The examination consists of a written exam and a voluntary oral exam.
- The written exam is made up of two parts, A and B, where part A gives a maximum of 16 points, including bonus points, and part B gives a maximum of 8 points. Note: Bonus points from the homework assignments (maximum 2+2=4 points) are added only to part A, up to at most 16 points.
- Provided that you have got at least 14 points at the written exam, there is the option of an oral exam.
- The voluntary oral exam gives a maximum of additional 8 points.
Remarks:
- The oral exam is voluntary, but necessary in order to obtain mark A.
- Part A in the written exam concerns the whole course.
- The questions for part B in the written exam concern mainly part I, integration theory.
- The questions for the oral exam concern mainly part II, functional analysis.

Grading criteria
Within the part of anlysis described in the course content, the student should be able to do the following:
For grade E:
Solve easy problems and explain the meaning of basic concepts and theorems.
For grade C in addition:
Solve more advanced problems from some part of the course content.
For grade A in addition:
Solve more advanced problems from several parts of the course content.
