Seminars
At the beginning of the seminar session, you will have 20 minutes to take a small written test. This is worth a maximum of 4 points.
The seminar tests will cover the following sections of the textbooks Discrete Mathematics and Discrete Models (DM) and Diskret Matematik Fördjupning (DMF):
- Seminar test 1: DM 2.1-2.6, 3.1, 3.2.1-3.2.3
- Seminar test 2: DM 3.2.4-3.2.5, 3.3, 3.4, 4.1-4.3
- Seminar test 3: DM 5.1-5.5, 7.1-7.3, 8.1-8.2
- Seminar test 4: DMF 5.1, 2.1-2.6, 3.2
- Seminar test 5: DM 6.1-6.3, DMF 3.1, 7.1
In total, the five seminar tests are worth a maximum of 20 seminar points. To calculate the number of bonus points that you receive on the final exam, we will divide your total number of seminar points by 3 and round down. This means that you need 18 seminar points in order to get the maximum 6 possible bonus points on the final exam. These bonus points are added on to your score for part 1 in the regular exam and the re-exam during the 2022-23 academic year, up to a maximum of 12 bonus points in total on all SF1610 exams.
For the remainder of the seminar session after the seminar test, you will be given active discussion tasks to carry out in the seminar.
