Information about seminars

At each seminar class, active work is conducted with seminar assignments.

In particular, solutions to the written test are discussed (see below).

Written test:

Each seminar starts with a written test. It is written during the first 20 minutes of the seminar and consists of one problem. Solve the recommended exercises (see the homepage) to prepare for the test. The mark for the test can be 0 or 1.

The test is followed by a 15 minutes break; after that the seminar continues without further breaks.

Bonus points:

Every passed test gives one bonus point for the Final exam. One can get at most 6 bonus points. These points are added to the number of points

for Part A of the Final exam, up to 12 points for this part in total. In other words, the number of points for Part A of the exam (including the bonus) can be at most 12 points.

One can participate only in one seminar series per year.

Validity of bonus points:

Bonus points are valid under one academic year (including the re-exam period).

Re-registered students:

If you have been registered for this course before and plan to attend it again, make sure that you are registered for this year's course.

Extended examination time:

If you have a right for extended examination time, please tell this to the assistant. There is a possibility for you to get extra 10 minutes for the test. Make sure that you have submitted all the corresponding documents to FUNKA, so that we have this information in the lists.
