KTH Template Course room
Welcome to this KTH Template Course room!
All text in italics is written to you as a teacher, and not for the students to see. Therefore, delete all text in italics before making the course room available to students.
This template course room is designed by the e-learning management object, established with teachers and students and approved by KTH's Board of Education, which is led by the Vice Principal for Education.
If you have any questions about the template please contact: it-support@kth.se
First, we would like you to upload a photo of yourself to your Canvas profile. You do this by clicking on Account at the top in the left-hand column, click Profile, and then click on the circle where the photo will be.
By clicking Settings and choosing the tab Navigation, you will find how to drag and drop the tabs you want your students to see. This helps you and your students to access different course areas. Please note that some tabs, e.g. modules and announcements, will not be visible in the menu until content has been added.
By clicking the glasses (Student View) in the top right corner you can view the course as a student.
It is recommended to add a picture that is relevant for the course: Go to edit mode - Image - then click Upload image to upload a picture from your computer, or click Course image to choose an image already uploaded to your course.

Tools
SpeedGrader guide to SpeedGrader (intra.kth.se)
You can access SpeedGrader by clicking a graded assignment, quiz or discussion in Grades. The SpeedGrader link appears in the right hand sidebar menu. When using SpeedGrader we recommend that you begin by temporarily hiding grades for your students. You manage this by clicking on Grades, then click the settings wheel on the right hand side, choose the tab Grade posting policy and Manually post grades.
KTH Transfer to Ladok guide to KTH transfer to Ladok (intra.kth.se)
This alternative is only visible for teachers, not for students. It is an application that has been developed with the intent to enable a secure digital transfer of grades from Canvas Gradebook to Ladok and hopefully also reduce the amount of manual grade administration.
