Automating announcements and making & applying covers

I (GQMJr) have written some programs to help examiners make announcements & calendar entries for oral presentations and for making & applying a cover to a thesis. Note that these programs only work with the latest version of my latex template.

(Updated with a modified usability section, a section of actual examples - using the latest Cortina API, and some possible enhancements. Note that a number of types of LaTeX equations are now supported in the Canvas course room announcement and calendar as will as the Cortina Calander. Also acronyms are now supported in abstracts.)
