Intended Learning Outcomes and Examination

Examination must - in any course - check that the intended learning outcomes are achieved.

This page describes the relation between intended learning outcomes and examination in II1305 Project in Information and Communication Technology, Spring 2021.

Intended Learning Outcomes

The intended learning outcomes of the course are as follows. The Swedish version is the formally valid text; the English translation is provided for the reader's convenience.

After passing the course, the student should be able to

  • in groups and with a structured developmental methodology carry out a project for development of a system with information and communication technique
  • reflect on the project as a basis for improvements of the working method.

Below, the intended learning outcomes are referred to as ILO1 (for the first bullet), and ILO2 (for the second bullet).

Examination

The examination requirements of the course are listed below.

  • You must finish all quizzes, with no more than one incorrect answer on each quiz, before the deadline given for each quiz. This is part of ILO1, " a structured developmental methodology".
  • You must work in a project, as part of the group you are assigned to. This is part of ILO1, "in groups [...] carry out a project".
  • The goals of your project must be approved by the examiner. This is part of ILO1, "carry out a project for development of a system with information and communication technique".
  • You must be present at the appointed working area during working hours, according to the rules stated on the page "Things You Need To Know". This is part of ensuring ILO1.
  • You must be present at no less than two of the first three sprint retrospectives. This is part of ILO2, "reflect on the project as a basis for improvements of the working method".
  • You must submit an Individual Project Reflection according to the rules stated on the page "Things You Need To Know". This is part of ILO2.
  • Should you fail a small part of the above, the examiner may allow an individual supplementary examination instead, as described on the page "Things You Need To Know".

This concludes the list of examination requirements.
