Study visit 2020

The second intended learning outcome of DD2300 is "compare different workplaces and professions relevant to computer scientists". In order to make you fulfill this learning outcome you will visit an IT company each year in the course and reflect on the visit in the prosamm seminar in period 2. The study visits 2020 will be virtual (using Zoom) and take place between October 15 and November 12, always on Thursdays between 15:30 and 17:00. 

Every student in DD2300 should attend at least one study visit. You do not need to sign up for the study visit. Each study visit will be 30 minutes, typically starting with a presentation by the company followed by a moderated question-answering session.

Last  year, the following companies arranged study visits: Valtech, Dynabyte, Fatshark, Resolution Games, SEB, Telia Company, Oracle, Microsoft, Netlight, Spotify, Google, Avalanche Studios, Embark Studios.

Please prepare for the study visit by reading some information about the company and preparing a question that you would like to be answered during the study visit.
