Study visit 2019
The first intended learning outcome of DD2300 is "compare different workplaces and professions relevant to computer scientists". In order to make you fulfill this learning outcome you will visit an IT company each year in the course and reflect on the visit in the next seminar. The study visits 2019 will take place between October 17 and November 14, always on Thursdays after 15.30.
Every student in DD2300 should sign up to one study visit. Sign up between October 11 at 10.00 and October 14 at 19:00 using links that will be published on this page. Remember to sign with full name and KTH e-mail.
This year the following companies arrange for you to visit them: Valtech, Dynabyte, Fatshark, Resolution Games, SEB, Telia Company, Oracle, Microsoft, Netlight, Spotify, Google, Avalanche Studios, Embark Studios.
The starting times are a bit different, so make sure you copy it correctly. The number of participants is also limited for each visit and when it’s full you can no longer sign up for that particular visit but instead have to choose another company. This page will be updated regularly when options get to be full.
One student contact person will be selected for each study visit. This role is only to be a contact point between the company and the students if there are any changes or instructions regarding the visit.
Please prepare for the study visit by reading some information about the company and preparing a question that you would like to be answered during the study visit.
