[slide405] So in MIKEY, we had a session master key that was exchanged or created together between the two parties. They took that plus a salt key, and then they split the key into pieces so that they could encrypt the SRTP session and encrypt the SRTCP session, both the encryption key and the authentication key. So when the media is sent, we put a key indicator here, the encrypted media, the authentication, it gets together and we decrypt it. We do a similar thing for the RTCP traffic. We encrypt the RTCP messages, deliver them. Pretty straightforward.
