[slide180] There's not only gateways, but there's even a gateway location protocol. Why do we need a gateway location protocol? Well, if we have these servers scattered all over the world, and I'm not in my home location, what do I want to do? I want to know what gateway I should use? I can also separate signaling gateways from media gateways. So we saw earlier this morning the case where my signaling went back to Sweden, but my media gateway was in Germany, so that I could, yes, send the media there instead of tromboning it. And this also means I can scale them independently. Right? So I might have an operator that I exchange with them, but I actually send very little media. I might have other operators where I send huge amounts of media, particularly video, but I actually send very little amount of signaling. So I can separately scale the dimensions of them.
