[slide71] Now, Steve Cherry wrote a very interesting article called "The Seven Myths of VoIP: VoIP is turning telephone into just another internet application, and a cheap one at that". And that was the title of the IEEE Spectrum article. And he gives these seven myths. VoIP is free, the only difference between VoIP and regular telephony is the price, the quality of the service isn't an issue nowadays because there's plenty of bandwidth in the network, VoIP can't replace regular telephony because it still can't guarantee quality of service, VoIP is just another data application, VoIP isn't secure, and a phone is a phone is a phone. So he said, all these seven statements are all myths. And by tomorrow afternoon, we'll come back and revisit these things and see, why did he say that these are just myths? Because some of you might right now say, well, actually, a phone is a phone is a phone. But we'll see it isn't.
