The course will mainly be based on the book:

Henry Sinnreich and Alan B. Johnston, Internet Communications Using SIP: Delivering VoIP and Multimedia Services with Session Initiation Protocol, 2nd Edition, Wiley, August 2006, ISBN: 0-471-77657-2

We will refer to other books, articles, and Internet Engineering Task Force Requests for Comments (RFCs) as necessary. A list of interesting literature will be available on the course web page and in the lecture nodes for each module.
